Moscow. January 26. “Rosneft” and “Gazprom Neft” filed in “Transneft” applications to lease oil pipeline under construction in Kuyumba-Taishet in the amount of 660 thousand tonnes in 2017, increasing to 4.1 million tons in 2019, is spoken in the message “Transneft”.
“The volume of oil delivery to the main pipeline Kuyumba – Taishet on the updated applications are oil companies: in 2017 – 660 thousand tons in 2018 – a total value of 1,072 thousand tons, in 2019 – 4 138 thousand tons”, – stated in the message.
The company reminds that on January 19, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on the adjustment of the plans of construction of the pipeline, Kuyumba-Taishet.
In accordance with the document, the project will be implemented in two stages. The first phase of the pipeline with capacity of 8.6 million tons will be commissioned in the fourth quarter of 2016. The second phase involves the design and construction of the pipeline to increase throughput to 15 million tons with the completion in the fourth quarter of 2023.
Kuumba pipeline-Taishet pipeline is constructed to supply oil from new fields in Eastern Siberia to the ESPO pipeline. Initially, the pipeline capacity to 15 million tonnes planned for launch in the fourth quarter of 2016 as oil companies promised to put in a pipeline as early as 2017 to 9.5 million tons.
Meanwhile in 2015, Transneft has signed with “Rosneft” and “Slavneft” the preliminary contract on rendering services on oil transportation on Kuyumba-Taishet, which involve the maximum volume of oil delivery to the pipeline starting in 2024 in the amount of more than 11 million tons per year.
