The Groupon ceased activity in Ukraine


KIEV, January 26. The Groupon ceased its operations in Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of service.

“Since 25 January 2016 Groupon, the company ceased its operations in Ukraine and therefore we are unable to offer You any (discount – approx. ed.) of the shares”, – stated in the message.

As reported by Forbes-Ukraine in a press-service, the decision to stop the activity in Ukraine was made after a thorough analysis of the Ukrainian market. “We appreciated our presence in the world and carefully studied the markets in which the market potential meets the necessary investments. Because we don’t see opportunities for profitable activity (in Ukraine – approx. ed.) in the near future, we have made the difficult decision to stop our activities here,” said the company.

It was noted that all the customers who purchased the coupon, can still use up to 25 February. If they do not, you will be able to get a refund for the coupon.
