GenBank started to work with Visa cards in the Crimea

Moscow. January 27. Under the sanctions GenBank from January 20 began to work with the cards of Visa international payment system in Crimea through the National system of payment cards, the Bank said.

All trade and service enterprises on the territory of Crimea and Sevastopol, connected via GenBank, accept payments with Visa cards of all Russian banks-issuers. The Bank also accepts Visa cards servicing all of their cash points.

GenBank is a supporting Bank of the government of Crimea – 50% of the Bank belongs to the Executive authorities of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol. Currently on the Peninsula opened more than 170 branches, there are more than 580 ATMs, more than 960 trading terminals.

In may 2015 the GenBank reported that he began to serve in its acquiring network cards of international payment systems, but did not specify what maps was discussed. In fact it was about the MasterCard cards of other banks and Visa, issued earlier by the GenBank.
