Medvedev: the government is considering the idea of revocation of the licences of companies in housing and communal services

The reduction of the period of validity for new licenses from management companies in the sphere of housing and communal services will simplify for consumers the procedure for replacing the management company, which does not suit them, according to the Chairman of the government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.

MOSCOW, 27 Jan. The Chairman of the government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev will instruct the government to work with the idea of shortening the duration of new licences in those management companies in the sphere of housing and communal services, which do not use any home within six months.

According to him, this idea will make it easier for consumers of utility services the procedure for replacing the management company, which does not suit them.

“During the discussion, an initiative was launched to simplify the process for consumers to reduce the term of the new licences in those management companies that do not work with any one house up to six months. I think six months is enough to understand who is who. I support this idea and will instruct her to work for the government”, — Medvedev said on Wednesday at the forum “Urban development: housing and utility services”.
