“Development of the innovative textile-industrial cluster of Ivanovo region will allow not only to diversify the textile industry raw materials, but also to ensure the implementation of the policy of import substitution, – stressed the Governor of the region Pavel Konkov.

More than 45 billion rubles will be involved in the development of innovative textile-industrial cluster of the Ivanovo region, including organization of production of polyester fiber, reported at the Congress center of the CCI on Wednesday the Governor of the region Pavel Konkov.
“The program of development of the innovative textile-industrial cluster of the Ivanovo area it is planned to implement in 2016 to 2025. Total funding will amount to 45.2 billion rubles. Will involve both equity and debt participants of the cluster, as well as funds from the Federal, regional and local budgets”, — said Konkov.
According to him, it is planned that by 2025 the number of cluster members reaches 645, and the volume produced and sold their products will exceed 43 billion rubles, of which more than 12.2 billion rubles have for innovative products.
“Development of the innovative textile-industrial cluster of Ivanovo region will allow not only to diversify the textile industry raw materials, but also to ensure the implementation of the policy of import substitution. Currently, the production of polyester staple fiber in Russia is 20% of the total needs of the industry, and production of industrial yarns in Russia is absent. The demand for this type of product is met through imports, what creates the optimal opportunity for import substitution in the market. This area is the most promising for the development of the textile and clothing sector”, — said the Governor.
Deputy Chairman of the government of the Ivanovo region Svetlana Davletova said that the production capacity of the textile cluster in the region is presented by a number of industrial parks that are able to take modern high-tech production.
“Prepared production site in Ivanovo region include one public-private industrial Park “Rodniki”, two private industrial Park “Kineshma” and “Ivanovo-Voznesensk”. In addition, build an industrial Park in Vichuga, is working on the creation of industrial-logistics Park “Krasnaya Talka” in the regional center,” she said.
In particular, Davletova spoke about the implementation of the investment project construction of complex for production of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) textile destination in Vichuga area.
“The project of construction of the PET complex has necessitated the creation of another industrial Park, specializing in the production and recycling of polyester raw material and the production of textile products of the new range, including technical textiles. Under the Park set aside land with total area of 182 hectares in Vichuga municipal area, which will house 59 resident enterprises. The production volume of polyester staple fibers will be 175 thousand tons per year of PET granulate — up to 30 thousand tons a year,” she said.
