The number of car loans in Russia in 2015 decreased by 41%


Moscow. January 27. In Russia in 2015 was issued about 485,3 thousand loans, which is 41% less than in 2014. The share of cars bought on credit, total sales grew by 1.9 percentage points (PPT) to 37.1 per cent, according to data research National Bureau of credit histories (NBCH) and the analytical Agency “AUTOSTAT”.

“Particularly strong decline in lending was recorded in the first quarter of 2015 (more than 3 times compared with the first quarter of 2014). In subsequent reporting periods, the decline in lending was a smaller scale”, – experts say NBCH.

NBCH created in 2005, in Russia it is among the three largest credit bureaus. As of 1 October 2015, its database stores information about 74 million borrowers.

Analytical Agency “AUTOSTAT”, specializing in the study of the automotive market, was founded in 2003.
