Profit Facebook for the fourth quarter of 2015 reached us $1.56 billion


NEW YORK, January 28. /Corr. Kirill Volkov/. The profit of the American company Facebook, which owns the eponymous social network, in the last fiscal quarter (ended 31 December) amounted to us $1,56 billion, reported Tuesday the company’s representatives.

This figure is twice the profit obtained by Facebook for the same period a year ago (about $700 million). The total company’s revenue for the last quarter amounted to $5,84 billion, having risen by $2 billion.

According to the Facebook data, last December, the average daily audience of the social network was about 1.04 billion users – 17% more than in December 2014.

“The community is our network continues to grow, and our business is booming,” he said on this occasion, the founder of Facebook mark Zuckerberg. “2015 was a great year for Facebook,” he said.
