MOSCOW, January 28. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin discussed with the permanent members of the security Council of the Russian Federation the economic situation in the country, and the prospects of the Syrian settlement. This was reported by press Secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov.

“The meeting was held a detailed exchange of views on the economic situation in Russia with emphasis on the development of high-tech and importozameshchenija industries,” he said.

“In addition to the eve of the beginning of the Geneva negotiations were discussed the prospects of Syrian settlement,” added the spokesman.
