Sands: the Kremlin has known about the problem of foreign currency borrowers, not yet made

MOSCOW, 28 Jan. In the Kremlin know about the problems facing Russia now has a currency borrowers, but ready-made solutions from the authorities yet, told journalists the President’s press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.

“We know that really there is such a problem, it is known,” said Sands.

The situation with borrowers who took out loans in the currency has escalated in January, when the Russian ruble fell against the dollar and the Euro due to the decline in world oil prices. In recent weeks currency borrowers organized in a number of Russian banks in an unsanctioned rally.

“Indeed, there are those who got into very difficult situation. We should not forget that it was a choice and calculation of those people who took upon themselves certain obligations on those conditions that now lead to a very difficult situation,” — said the press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation.

Peskov said that foreign currency mortgages are not the only problem that had to face the participants of economic relations on the background of difficulties in the Russian economy.

“Of course, it is in the field of view, primarily the government and the administration. However, to say that there are any ready solutions for this problem, unfortunately, is not yet possible,” — said Peskov.
