Moscow. January 28. The ruble fell slightly against the dollar and the Euro at the opening of trading on Thursday on the Moscow exchange, consolidating after significant fluctuations in previous days in terms of improvement of mood on the oil market.
The first transactions in us dollar were held on Thursday in the range of 77.5-78,035 ruble, on average over fifteen minutes the rate was 77,87 ruble (+20 kopeks to the level of the previous close). The Euro in early trading was in the area 84,61 ruble (+1 copy). The bi-currency basket amounted to 80.9 per ruble (+11,5 COP.).
The dollar was by 1.13 rubles below the current official rate of Euro 1.24 rubles below the current exchange rate of the CBRF.
The depreciation of the ruble against the dollar and the Euro is negligible, according to experts of “Interfax-CEA”. According to them, the ruble is consolidating after significant movements in the previous days on the background of improving sentiment in the oil market.
The price of the March futures on the mark Brent on London’s ICE Futures exchange was $32,65 a barrel at 10:00 GMT, slightly down on Thursday morning after takeoff yesterday in the evening to the highest level since January 10.
