St. PETERSBURG, 28 Jan. Consumer prices in Russia in January could rise by 0.9-1%, told journalists the Minister of economic development of Russia Alexey Ulyukayev.
“For January? I think that will be in the range 1% to 0.9 of 1%, we will come to the level of the end of the month 10% year-on-year,” said the Minister, answering a question about the inflation forecast for January.
Inflation in Russia in January 2015 amounted to 3,9%, and in annual terms — 15%.
In 2015, according to the final data of Rosstat, inflation in Russia amounted to 12.9%. Earlier, Ulyukayev said that annual inflation will fall below 10%, improvements will occur with the second or third quarter of 2016.
