Travel through Poland starting from 1 February 2016 for the 2015 permits is not possible, said the Association of international road carriers.
MOSCOW, 29 Jan. Autotransportations between Russia and Poland may be suspended from 1 February, reports the Association of international road carriers (ASMAP) on Friday.
On Thursday, the Ministry of transport of Russia reported about the threat of termination of road transport between Russia and Poland. As noted by the Ministry, Poland has refused to give Russia a concrete proposal for the exchange permissions for 2016 for trucking between the countries.
“We draw the attention of the Russian carriers, which travel within the territory of Poland, starting from 1 February 2016, 2015 permission impossible”, — stated in the message.
According to the Association, the Polish party “deliberately dragging out the negotiation process and refuses to exchange permissions”.
“There is a clear wish of the Polish side to increase the transport of goods to/from third countries and to maintain the dominance of the market of bilateral transport with Russia”, — said the Association.
