Pushkov: the renewal of Council Russia-the NATO is a sign of “crisis” in the Alliance

MOSCOW, 29 Jan. The Chairman of the Duma Committee on international Affairs Alexei Pushkov believes that the resumption of work of the Council NATO-Russia (NRC) indicates a “crisis of genre” in the North Atlantic Alliance.

Earlier, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that NATO considers the timely holding of meetings of the NRC will discuss this issue with the Russian delegation. According to him, the Alliance eliminates the possibility of placing hundreds of thousands of battle-ready soldiers on the border, as during the cold war.

“Stoltenberg talks about the renew of work of Council Russia-the NATO reflect a “crisis of genre” of the Alliance. The feud with Russia — foolishness, not politics,” wrote Pushkov in his microblog on Twitter.
