MOSCOW, 29 Jan. The Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday will continue to discuss the economic situation and will meet with the Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov and Central Bank head Elvira Nabiullina has informed journalists a press-Secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov.
Talking about schedule on Friday, he said that Putin will hold an economic meeting. “The President will continue to discuss economic issues. Today he will meet with Minister of Finance Siluanov and Central Bank Chairman Nabiullina,” — said Peskov.
This week the head of state was actively engaged in the economic agenda. So, on Tuesday, Putin discussed with the Minister of economic development Alexei Ulyukayev ensuring macroeconomic balance, and on Wednesday at the end of the traditional meeting with government members held a separate meeting devoted to economic issues.
Among the participants of the meeting at which was discussed the current economic situation, touched on measures to accelerate economic growth, first Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, Deputy Prime Ministers Olga Golodets and Arkady Dvorkovich, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, the head of audit chamber Tatyana Golikova, the head of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina.
