Moscow. January 29. The Deputy Chairman of Moscow exchange Andrey Shemetov, will leave the exchange in March, he said.

Shemetov joined the “Moscow exchange” in 2012 as head of the brokerage firm Aton. He was responsible for the development of the Commission business of the exchange.

Shemetov has not yet voiced future plans, noting that “wants to return to a more entrepreneurial environment.”

“The main reason why I came to the stock exchange, managed to do: to reform the infrastructure of trading and make the stock exchange more customer-oriented. All the innovations implemented by our team, and will not list: the T+ on the Fund, repo transactions with the Central counterparty, OTC-derivatives, two new market (precious metals and grains), the listing of Eurobonds,” wrote Shemetov in Facebook.

As reported by the official representative of the Moscow exchange, Andrey Braginsky, until March Shemetov will perform their duties as usual. Further the governance structure of the exchange markets he will report later.

Shemetov were previously included in the boards of Directors of RTS and MICEX.
