The Ministry supported the increase of minimum price for vodka


Moscow. January 29. The Ministry of economic development supports the proposal of Rosalkogol on the adjustment of minimum prices for vodka at the level of inflation to increase from 185 rubles to 190 rubles.

The journalists said Deputy economic development Minister Oleg Fomichev.

As reported by one of the participants of the meeting of the working group at the governmental Commission on increase of competitiveness and regulation of the alcohol market, the outcome of the discussions about minimum price for vodka was a proposal to calculate this price based on the formula of “plus 15% to cost”.

That minimum price on vodka can be enhanced, said in October last year, the head of Rosalkogol Igor Chuyan.

The minimum price of vodka in retail at present is 185 rubles per 0.5 liter. It was reduced from 1 February 2015. Before the minimum price was only increasing. And in 2014, it happened twice – from 11 March and 1 August.

Minimum selling price is 162 rubles, wholesale – 170 rubles.
