The Spanish economy in 2015 showed the best growth in 15 years

Moscow. January 29. Spain’s economy, fourth largest in the Eurozone, grew by 3.2% in 2015, which was the best figure since 2007, according to preliminary data from the statistical office of the country INE.

In the fourth quarter of last year Spain’s GDP increased by 0.8% compared with the previous quarter and by 3.5% in annual terms.

The main engines of growth of the Spanish economy in the last quarter were consumer spending and increased activity in the services sector.

In 2014 the Spanish GDP growth was 1.4%.
