Zakharov also noted that is ready for the talks and the opposition delegation of ATS, formed following the meetings in Moscow and Cairo. “We understand that a group of representatives of the Syrian opposition, which is formed on the basis of the Moscow and Cairo meetings, also ready for constructive interaction and work. On their part, we do not see any preconditions, and they are completely ready to launch the negotiation process, which was agreed upon,” – said the official representative of the Russian foreign Ministry.

“As for the opposition groups, formed in Riyadh, the information that the representatives of this group stated about the readiness to start work, we do not have – continued Zakharova. – I hope that such statements will follow. All must clearly understand that it is very important, it is hoped, a turning point in the Syrian settlement – in the sense of finding solutions and ways of achieving a peaceful settlement.
