India is interested in the products of car casting, as well as the power electronics for the Indian electric locomotives, said the Minister of economy of Mordovia-Vladimir Mazov.
NEW DELHI, 30 Jan –. India is interested in cooperation with Mordovia in the sphere of information technologies, car building and power electronics, announced on Saturday on the sidelines of a visiting session of the St. Petersburg international economic forum (SPIEF) in India the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of economy of Mordovia-Vladimir Mazov.
“We have had a number of meetings with Indian companies. We are very interested in cooperation in the field of information technology. We had built Technopark”, — he said.
In the near future the parties intend to develop other areas of cooperation. “First of all, it is about the freight railroad cars – spare parts. Colleagues interested in the products of car casting. We agreed in the near future to work on this direction”, — he added.
In addition, already are partial deliveries to India of power electronics devices. “We are also already partially supplied by the power electronics devices and converters, and agreed to study the possibility of intensifying this cooperation. It comes to supplying components for Indian electric locomotives. We are interested in everything connected with cable products based on optical fiber. In India a huge need for it,” said MAZ.
Also, Mordovia has started deliveries of plywood in India and plans to increase their volume.
The first session of the forum held on the sidelines of the event The Global Business Summit, the organizers of the sessions are the Foundation “Recongress” and the media holding The Times of India. Discussion of economic and investment cooperation between Russia and India will continue on the jubilee forum, which will take place on 16 -18 June 2016 at a new venue Expoforum.
