Foreign Ministry: Russia hopes for an unbiased report of the EC on the results of the meetings in the Crimea


Russia is counting on a balanced and impartial report on the outcome of numerous meetings of the special representative of the Council of Europe with the leadership of Crimea, public and religious figures, said in a statement the Russian foreign Ministry.

MOSCOW, 1 Feb. Moscow is counting on a balanced and impartial report on the outcome of numerous meetings of the special representative of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe Gerard Stoudmann with the leadership of the Crimea, said on Monday the Russian foreign Ministry.

The first of February, state Secretary, Deputy foreign Minister Grigory Karasin took Stoudmann, who “has shared the first impressions at the conclusion of its week-long trip to the Crimea at the invitation of the Russian Federation”, said the foreign Ministry.

“From the Russian side it was said that Moscow is counting on a balanced and impartial report on the outcome of numerous meetings of the special representative and the leadership of Crimea, public and religious figures, representatives of national minorities”, — stated in the message of the foreign Ministry.
