Novak confirmed the readiness to participate in consultations with OPEC


Russian energy Minister Alexander Novak confirmed to the Minister of petroleum and mines of Venezuela, Eulogio Del Pino its readiness to participate in consultations on oil countries and non-OPEC, said in a statement Russian the Ministry of energy.

MOSCOW, 1 Feb. Minister of energy Alexander Novak and Minister of petroleum and mines of Venezuela, Eulogio Del Pino discussed the possibility of holding in the near future consultations on oil countries and non-OPEC, said in a statement Russian the Ministry of energy.

In addition, Novak confirmed his willingness to participate in these multilateral consultations in the event of their conduct.

 

“The Minister of energy Alexander Novak confirmed to the Minister of petroleum and mines of Venezuela, Eulogio Del Pino its willingness to participate in these multilateral consultations in case of their carrying out”, — stated in the message.

Del Pino also accepted the invitation of Novak to participate in National oil and gas forum, which will take place in Moscow from 18 to 21 April 2016.

The Minister of oil of Venezuela on Sunday arrived in Moscow where he held talks with Novak. This trip takes place at the President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, sent Del Pino on a tour of OPEC countries and Nations not belonging to this organization, so he enlisted the support for joint action to halt the fall in oil prices. Besides Moscow, Del Pino will visit Tehran, Doha and Riyadh.

Maduro said earlier that proposes to harmonize the findings of measures of reinstatement of the oil market, if all stakeholders come to an agreement.
