Moscow. February 1. The ruble fell slightly against the dollar and Euro on the Moscow stock exchange in early trading Monday, reacting to the downward correction in global prices of oil.
The first transactions in us dollar were held on Monday in the range 75,48-76,02 ruble, on average, two minutes the rate was 75.85 per ruble (+42 kopecks to the previous closing mark). Exchange rate of Euro amounted 82,29 ruble (+55 cents). The bi-currency basket amounted to 78,75 ruble (+48 cents).
The dollar was at 68 cents above the current official exchange rate, Euro to 38 cents above the level of the official rate.
Experts attribute the small deviation of the ruble against the dollar and the Euro with downward correction of world oil prices. Oil prices lower on Monday, quotations of March futures on the mark Brent on London’s ICE Futures exchange at 10:00 Moscow time fell by about 2% to $35,2 per barrel.
