MOSCOW, 1 February. The average price of Urals crude oil in January 2016 declined compared to the same period last year by 1.6 times and amounted to $28,75 per barrel, said the leading expert of Department of tax and customs tariff policy of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation Alexander Sakovich.
In January 2015 the average price of Urals stood at $46,58 per barrel for 2015 was at the level of $51,23 per barrel. In December 2015, the price was $36,42 per barrel. Thus, on a monthly basis in January 2016, the price of Urals crude oil dropped by 21%.
According to estimates, expressed in January, representatives of the Russian authorities, the price of oil in 2016 in the forecast socially-economic development of Russia can be adjusted, and will range from $20 to $40 per barrel.
