The sanitation of forest areas and water bodies will hold in Mordovia for the 2018 world Cup


In Mordovia, for the creation of favorable sanitary-epidemiological situation for the world football championship in 2018 it is planned to carry out sanitary processing of forest areas and water bodies, as well as to purchase vaccines for immunization of food service workers, volunteers, reported Tuesday the press service of the head of the Republic.

NIZHNY NOVGOROD, 2 Jan. In Mordovia, for the creation of favorable sanitary-epidemiological situation for the world football championship in 2018 it is planned to carry out sanitary processing of forest areas and water bodies, as well as to purchase vaccines for immunization of food service workers, volunteers, reported Tuesday the press service of the head of the Republic.

The preparation of the Republic for the world Cup 2018 in respect of the creation of favorable sanitary-epidemiological situation were discussed by the head of Mordovia Vladimir Volkov and the head of regional management Rospotrebnadzora Tatyana Kharitonova.

“In Mordovia and Saransk is necessary to carry out preventive measures aimed at the sanitation of the forested areas, woodlands, natural and artificial lakes, the surroundings of the settlements located in the area of infrastructure of the championship or adjacent to it”, — stated in the message.

Also at the meeting Volkova and Kharitonova discussed the issue of procurement of vaccines for immunization in the eve of the championship of workers of food businesses, including catering companies, hotels, trade organizations, transportation, volunteers, attracted during the world Cup.

The head of the Republic instructed the relevant services of the Republican government to pay special attention to sanitary-epidemic preparations, in particular, to address the issues of financing the activities listed, the press service notes.

The world Cup will be held from 14 June to 15 July 2018 12 stadiums in 11 Russian cities: Moscow, Kaliningrad, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Saransk, Rostov-on-don, Sochi and Yekaterinburg.
