MOSCOW, February 3. Online platform for sales of Russian goods abroad, the need for which was declared by President Vladimir Putin in the message to the Federal Assembly, may be established on the basis trading facility “mail of Russia”, the newspaper “Kommersant”.

“As one of the resources for the promotion of Russian goods on world markets may be considered in future my own Internet site “mail of Russia”. “Mail of Russia” are ready to provide high quality and quick delivery of postal items with goods of the Russian manufacturers abroad to all 190 countries in the universal postal Union”, – said the press service of Federal state unitary Enterprise.
In November-December 2015 on the marketplace “mail of Russia” was made 360 thousand orders, which is 83% higher than a year earlier. The average number of products in each order was 1.9, and the average amount of the check was equal to 1.4 thousand rubles, noted in the Federal state unitary Enterprise. Thus, the turnover of the trading platform in the new year season could amount to 504 million rubles.

According to experts, the devaluation of the ruble and the presence of well-developed logistics network “mail of Russia” will contribute to the growth of export shipments. While its share is small – “Mail of Russia” in 2015, we handled approximately 1.3 million parcels on exports against more than 120 million import and transit.
The General Director of Agency “Infoline-Analytics” Mikhail Burmistrov noted that the scope of the project “mail of Russia” will be comparable with foreign rivals such as AliExpress and eBay, “at least because of the limited potential of the Russian industry and small manufacturing businesses, however, the devaluation of the ruble and the availability of effective logistics is fully capable to make the significant export channel for Russian companies”. According to him, foreign markets can be demanded furs, jewelry, Souvenirs, and food durable goods (confectionery, baby food) from Russia.
