MOSCOW, February 3. Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday will meet with his longtime friend, former U.S. Secretary of state Henry Kissinger.
“Today will be a continuation of the conversation in the old friendly dialogue between President Putin and Henry Kissinger, who will be in Moscow”, – said the press Secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov. He recalled that “Putin and Kissinger have long-standing relations, they constantly communicate, use the opportunity to talk to.”
“Putin cherishes this opportunity to debate current issues in world politics, the exchange of views on the prospects of situation development in future”, – said the representative of the Kremlin.
Peskov also said that on February 3, the Russian leader will speak with another foreign guest of the Prime Minister of Bavaria Horst Seehofer. “Quite an important appointment in continuing the dialogue with German partners, with emphasis, of course, on the trade and economic relations,” he said. According to the Kremlin representative, economic relations of Russia and Germany “despite a fair prosedanie, still are of great significance for Russia and participants of foreign economic activity from Germany, despite all the restrictions”.
