General Motors is Recalling 473 thousand cars because of a fault with the brakes


NEW YORK, February 9. /Corr. Kirill Volkov/. American automobile concern General Motors announced a recall from the North American market 473 thousand cars because of a defect in the brake system. This is stated in a statement released by the automaker.

The recall affects the Chevrolet Silverado HD pickups and the GMC Sierra HD and the Chevrolet Tahoe 2015 and 2016 model years, sold in the U.S. and Canada.

The result is a factory fault found in these cars, the brake pedal may cease to function properly, including not respond to touch.

As reported in General Motors, the company is not aware of any accidents due to this defect. The group agrees to fix the problem for free.
