MOSCOW, February 10. Among demolished in Moscow of objects of “self-building” was the building Department of one of large Russian banks. This was announced on Wednesday by the lawyer Ruben Markaryan, not becoming to clarify the name of the Bank.

“I was approached for advice from representatives of several major organizations affected by the actions of the city authorities. For example, among the destroyed objects were the building Department of one of large Russian banks. The fact that the Bank is not a shop, it is the financial institution where the money, important papers, credit documents of clients and he can’t just move for a few days, this provides quite a long process. And it just came at night and tore down,” said Ruben Markaryan.

He noted that in addition to the Bank from the authorities suffered several major Russian organizations that have documents on the property right premises. According to the lawyer, now the owners of the demolished objects prepares treatment not only in the courts but also the police and Prosecutor’s office.

“I think soon, perhaps even today, the owners of the demolished facilities will appeal to the Prosecutor’s office to conduct an audit on the fact of the barbarous treatment of the owners of the premises and the police on the criminal case upon excess of powers of office by persons directly involved in the demolition of the premises”, said Markaryan.

On the night of 9 February in Moscow began the dismantling of the 97 objects of unauthorized construction. In December, the Moscow government adopted the decree “About measures on provision of demolition of unauthorized constructions on certain territories of the city of Moscow”, providing for the demolition of 104 objects.

In the list of objects subject to demolition, were the shopping center “Pyramid” at metro station “Pushkin”, built above the entrance of metro station “Sukharevskaya”, building on the area of Savelovsky station, the extension to the subway station “Sokol”, the stalls near the metro station “Kropotkin”, “Arbat” and “Ulitsa 1905 goda”, etc.
