Austria consented to the entry of the state Duma delegation to participate in session of OSCE PA


MOSCOW, 11 February. Austria consented to the entry of a state Duma delegation headed by Chairman of the chamber Sergey Naryshkin to participate in the February session of the OSCE parliamentary Assembly. This was reported to journalists by the Deputy of the state Duma, the OSCE PA special representative on anti-terrorism, Nikolay Kovalev.

“Consent to enter to all members (the Russian delegation), including under the sanctions received. Repeat Helsinki, said, do not suppose,” said the MP. According to him, “the delegation will be headed by Sergei Naryshkin, he will determine the final composition of the delegation of”.

Previously Naryshkin at a meeting with speaker of the OSCE PA the Ilkka Kanerva spoke about the intention to participate in the winter session of the Assembly.

In July of last year the delegation of the Russian Federation in July refused in full from participation in the summer session of the OSCE parliamentary Assembly in Helsinki in protest against the decision of the Finnish authorities to refuse entry to persons involved in “sanctions lists” of the European Union in the first place, the speaker of the state Duma Sergei Naryshkin.
