Rogozin: Russia believes that no foreign ground troops in Syria should not be


BAGHDAD, 11 February. Russia does not intend to extend the operation HQs of the Russian Federation in Syria to neighbouring countries. This was stated to journalists by Vice-Premier Dmitry Rogozin, answering the question of the Iraqi press about the possibility of involving the Russian air force to fight the terrorists in Iraq.

“Everybody talked about it the responsible Russian officials: we act only at the invitation of the Syrian government in the Syrian airspace”, – he reminded.

“No talk about expanding the geography of our actions can not be, because it would have required the request of other governments”, – said Deputy Chairman of the Russian government.
