The Prosecutor’s office has challenged in court the detention of former Director of the airport of Domodedovo Vyacheslav Nekrasov and two other defendants in the case about the terrorist attack in 2011 — former managing Director of “Domodedovo airport aviation security” Andrey Danilov and former head of the Russian representative office of Airport Management Company Limited Svetlana Trichinae. This was reported by “RIA Novosti” press Secretary of the Basmanny court of Moscow Juno Tsarev.
According to her, the date of consideration of the protest has not been scheduled yet.
Earlier, during court session on February 9, the Prosecutor called the unlawful detention of the ex-managers Domodedovo. He pointed out that the actions of the defendants qualified the result is incorrect, and the Statute of limitations of their crimes had expired.
The consequence considers that the Nekrasov, Danilov and Trishina has not provided a sufficient level of security that has allowed the 24 January 2011 suicide bomber Magomed Evloev to penetrate into the arrival hall with a bomb and activate the explosive device. As a result, 37 people were killed, 172 were injured.
