Avakov told about the offer from Saakashvili to occupy the post of Prime Minister

The Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine, Arseny Avakov said that the Governor of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili offered him to take the post of Prime Minister.

Why don’t you be the Prime Minister and I — first Deputy Prime Minister”, — said Avakov in an interview to the Ukrainian edition “Mirror of week”.

According to him, the Odessa Governor explained that the post of Prime Minister must be a representative of the Popular front (one of the parliamentary parties in Ukraine, headed by current Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk).

Answering the question of how quickly, in his opinion, Saakashvili will become the opposition to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Avakov said: “Yes he has, in fact, moved. But if there will be elections, and he [planned] will be headed by the nominal unit — the so-called second pillar of the presidential team, will go to independent swimming immediately after the election.”

Referring to the figures, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, interior Minister called it a “very good Prime Minister for this time.” “Yes, he has flaws, I have flaws. We are all not saints”, he concluded.

I refrained from hitting him, he splashed his face with water,” wrote Avakov in Facebook.

Saakashvili, in turn, demanded to make public the full recording of “unworthy and provocative behavior, Prime Minister and Minister of internal Affairs”. “I am responsible for every word spoken there. It is time that the actors that brought the country to handle, was responsible for their words and actions,” he wrote on his page in Facebook.

Saakashvili from time to time, he engages in criticism of the Prime Minister Yatsenyuk and the government. So, at the end of November he accused Yatsenyuk and the head of Committee on fuel and energy complex Mykola Martynenko in custody HMO unprofitable contract.

December 6, during his speech at the anti-corruption forum in Odessa Saakashvili accused the Cabinet of Ministers and the largest businessmen of the country’s involvement in large scale corruption.
