Sergey Lavrov in April will visit Japan


MOSCOW, February 15. The Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov will pay an official visit to Tokyo in mid-April. This was reported in the Russian depodesta on the results of the consultations in the Japanese capital, Deputy foreign Minister Igor Morgulov and special envoy of the Japanese government for relations with Russia Tikahito Haradah.

“During the consultations were discussed the whole complex of issues in Russian-Japanese relations, – noted in the Ministry. – The main attention is paid to the promotion of political dialogue, interaction in the security sphere, trade and economic relations and cooperation in practical areas.”

“They also exchanged views on a number of topical international themes, including on issues of comprehensive security in the Asia-Pacific region,” added the Russian foreign Ministry.

“An agreement on the organization of the official visit of Russian foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to Japan in mid-April of this year”, – stated in the message.
