The Ministry of agriculture of the Federal Republic of Germany: it is necessary to start negotiations with Russia about opening her food market

BRUSSELS, 15 February. The EU should start negotiations with Russia about the opening of its market for European food products. This opinion was expressed in Brussels by the Minister of food and agriculture of Germany Christian Schmidt.

“I suggest to start negotiations with Russia on the gradual opening of the market for food products. I understand that the overall political situation is complicated, however right now it would be an important signal that we are moving not to cold, but to reasonable cooperation,” he said. Schmidt pointed out that in Europe “on the market of milk and pork are facing a difficult situation.”
