MOSCOW, February 16. Moscow region authorities will assist in the construction of the Central ring road (TsKAD) in the Moscow region. This was announced on Tuesday, the Governor of the region Andrey Vorobyov at the meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Avtodor Sergey Callaham.
“We have implemented major infrastructure projects of the state Corporation “Avtodor” – toll highway M-11, the Central ring road. The Moscow region are ready to participate in the liberation of the territory, the provision of inert materials. The heads of municipalities and regional authorities will have to accompany him”, – said Vorobyov.
He noted that the construction of the Zvenigorod progress of the quarry was handed over to the contractor to use, enabling up to four to reduce the cost of sand. This practice will try to apply on other parts of the CRR.
“For the regional economy, convenience, quality of life, this road is of great importance. We are very interested in the fact that this project was abandoned and not implemented”, – said the Governor.
The project of construction of the Central ring consists of five complexes that will be implemented on the principle of public-private partnership, the total length will be 529,9 km. The construction of the Central ring road will provide the formation on the territory of Moscow region the chord of roads of international transport corridors: No. 2 (London – Berlin – Warsaw – Minsk – Moscow – Nizhny Novgorod), No. 9 (Helsinki – Saint-Petersburg – Moscow – Kiev – South-Eastern Europe), international transport corridor “North-South” and MTC “Helsinki-Moscow-Nizhny Novgorod”.
The CRR will be paid, except in certain areas. Construction of the first section of Central ring road in the Moscow region began in August 2014, and the first four of the plot require to build by 2018, three of them will be paid. The route will pass through the territory of Moscow region in 50 km from MKAD. The volume of investments in the Central ring road may be about 300 billion rubles. the design speed of vehicles on the ring road – about 150 miles an hour.
