Canadian aircraft manufacturer Bombardier reduces 7 thousand jobs

OTTAWA, February 17. The canadian aircraft company Bombardier “Bombardier” announced the reduction of approximately 7 thousand jobs as part of a major restructuring. This is stated in a statement in Wednesday’s press release.

“We make changes to make the company stronger and more competitive”, – stated in the message.

According to the aircraft designer, these reductions will be partially offset by creation of new jobs in some developing and strategic projects.

Bombardier’s revenue in the past fiscal year amounted to $18.2 billion, which is approximately 10% less than 2014.
