The foreign Ministry is discussing with the Department the possibility of visit of the Russian delegation on the issue of adopted children

MOSCOW, February 17. Russian diplomats are in contact with the U.S. state Department on organization of visit of the Russian delegation to monitor the rights of adopted children. This was stated by Commissioner of the Russian foreign Ministry on issues of human rights, democracy and rule of law Konstantin Dolgov.

“We expect that the American side will agree to complete the dialogue our delegation together with the Ombudsman under the RF President on the rights of the child Pavel Astakhov with representatives of the state Department and, preferably, the US Department of justice, he said. Is an important element of the trip, because these issues require discussion in international format, i.e. with representatives of the United States Federal government”.

“Have accumulated a vast array of problems, unfortunately, they are not solved, – said Debts. – Require additional discussion to move the process from dead point, in which it is not our fault”.

“We now continue our contacts with the state Department on the subject of organizing such a visit”, – the diplomat said.
