Moody’s has worsened the forecast decline of Russia’s GDP in 2016 to 2.5%


MOSCOW, February 18. International rating Agency Moody’s has worsened the forecast decline of Russia’s GDP in 2016 to 2.5%, said in a research note, Moody’s Investors Service.

So, the Agency’s experts now expect a decrease in GDP by 2.5% compared with a fall of GDP by 1% in the previous forecast.

In the opinion of the Agency experts was influenced by the decline in oil prices, as well as the use by government of additional measures to tighten fiscal policy to curb the growth of public debt.
