MOSCOW, February 18. The Russian President Vladimir Putin was excluded from the Council under the RF President on development of civil society and human rights Iosif Diskin, Anatoly Kucherena, Elena Nikolaev, Alexei Pushkov, Michail Terentyev, Elena Topoleva-Soldunova and Vladimir Shaposhnikov. The corresponding decree posted on Thursday on the portal of legal information.
The decree comes into force from the date of signing.
The Council for development of civil society and human rights (HRC) under the President of the Russian Federation – Advisory body under the President. Among its main functions is the facilitation of the processes of humanization and modernization of the Russian society; examination of projects of Federal laws to determine their conformity with the development of civil society; informing the President about the situation in the field of the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, etc. Decision of the Council are Advisory in nature for Federal and local government authorities.
