Source: VEB Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev said that he was leaving his post


MOSCOW, February 18. The head of Vnesheconombank (VEB) Vladimir Dmitriev on Thursday informed the Bank employees that he was leaving his post. He has not named a successor and has not announced its plans for further work, said a source at VEB.

“Vladimir Aleksandrovich (Dmitriev) today said goodbye to the staff of VEB, he announced that he was leaving his post”, – said the Agency interlocutor, noting that Dmitriev did not name his successor as head of Vnesheconombank.

“Now called in the press, one candidate almost daily. But we must wait for the decree of the President”, – said the source.

Dmitriev also said its possible new job. “But it’s a question rather to the administration of the President, to the President,” the source said, noting that the current head of the VEB is actually still goes into the personnel reserve of the head of state until a new feasible assignment.

Earlier, a source close to VEB’s Supervisory Board, announced that the Chairman of the state may become the Deputy Chairman of the management Board of Sberbank of Russia Sergey Gorkov, the head of Sberbank German Gref cannot enter into the Supervisory Board of VEB.
