Shokhin called the relevant recognizance for the owner of Domodedovo

According to the President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs (RSPP) Alexander Shokhin in the capacity of a measure of restraint for the owner of Domodedovo Dmitry Kamenshchik law enforcement agencies must choose his own recognizance. He added that, as a rule, detention is carried out on more substantial crimes.

“In this case the measure of restraint not on economic crime here charged with a different crime. From a General point of view the question arises as restraint with regard to detention, there needs to be a more meaningful measure of crime” — quoted Shokhin RSN.

Shokhin also stressed that the position of the RSPP is to use his own recognizance or to other preventive measures instead of arresting them.

Previously Shokhin, who after the arrest of the head of the Board of Directors of AFK “Sistema” of Vladimir Yevtushenkov on behalf of the Board of RSPP personally vouched for him with a request to change the measure of restraint, stated that in the case of the Bricklayer will to do it. Moreover, the detention he did not comment on, citing the fact that the case is not connected with economic crimes, and therefore does not refer to “competence protection of rights of entrepreneurs”.

Entrepreneur Dmitry Kamenshchik was detained February 18, during questioning in the Investigative Committee. After that, the Basmanny court of the capital has received a request for his arrest, a decision on measure of restraint will be made on February 19.

On the eve of the detention of Kamenshchik spent the first five years at a press conference during which answered to the claims of the investigation of the terrorist attack of 2011. He called innocent people arrested on February 9, former and current managers of the airport and did not rule out the possibility that he himself may become the accused in a criminal case. Despite this, Kamenshchik did not admit that he had a conflict with the government, noting that they invest together in the development of Domodedovo. Proposals about sale of the airport, he said, he did not.

The explosion at Domodedovo airport occurred on January 24, 2011, as a result of the attack killed 37 and more than a hundred people were hospitalized. The first criminal case of default of requirements of transport safety at the airport was initiated immediately after the attack, but then closed it. In the summer of 2015, the TFR has announced the initiation of a criminal case against two former and one current top-managers of the airport in connection with the incident a terrorist attack.
