The publication clarifies that financing campaign for election of President and members of Parliament, the party would need to find €27 million in a situation where French banks refuse to provide loans.

The publication also refers to communication of the radio station Europe 1, whose sources in the Kremlin said that Russia will most likely comply with a request from Le Pen. European spetsluzhby repeatedly warned about the growing influence of the Kremlin in European politics. Service and information security (BIS) of the Czech Republic has repeatedly accused Russia of attempts to establish in Europe the structure of influence, like the USSR established the Comintern. According to BIS, the Russian Federation is assisting programisci oriented organizations and individuals.

In January 2016, the U.S. Congress instructed U.S. intelligence agencies to conduct an investigation against the agents of influence of the Kremlin in political and social structures of the countries of the European Union. The result should be a detailed review of cases of clandestine funding structures of European political parties and public organizations in the last decade.

In Washington thought that Russia is trying to use the disunity between the EU countries to undermine NATO’s capabilities and strives to make differences in the question of anti-Russian sanctions with the aim of lifting them soon. Moreover, EU policy-makers underestimate the depth of penetration of Russia and Europe and the extent of its influence.
