According to the report, the decision to create working group was accepted with the objective of “protection of information space and information sovereignty in the South”.
Chairman of the working group appointed a member of the national Council Sergey Kostinsky. Its membership also includes the member of the Board Oleg Chernysh, employees of the structural units of the regulator, as well as representatives of the Ukrainian Ministry of information policy, the state Service for special communications and information protection of Ukraine, National television company of Ukraine and other structures.
21 January President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed a decree on the establishment of the return of the Crimea. “The decree has approved the updated structure representation, which includes, among others, the service for work with citizens who migrated from the temporarily occupied territories, the international relations service and the service for reintegration and de-occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea”, — stated in the document.
A day earlier, on 20 January, the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Natalia Jaresko on the sidelines of the economic forum in Davos said that the authorities intend to launch an initiative for the return of Crimea. “We disagree [with the fact] that the Crimea is gone. This year we really start to intensify the process for the return of the Crimea”, — said the Minister.
Jaresko said that Kiev plans to establish a diplomatic forum like Geneva format, which included Russia, Ukraine, the EU and the US.
