Egypt acknowledged the crash of the Russian Airbus A321 at the hands of terrorists

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said that the crash of the Russian Airbus A321, crashed over the Sinai on October 31, are the terrorists, reports Reuters. According to him, the terrorists did it to hurt the tourism industry of Egypt and to aggravate relations between Moscow and Cairo.

“If laid end to terrorism? No. But it will end when we all come together. What was the aim of those behind the crash of Russian plane? They wanted to strike a blow for tourism and relations with Russia”, — said al-Sisi in a televised address.

A statement by al-Sisi became the first official recognition of the Egyptian side that the plane crashed as a result of actions of terrorists. Earlier, Egyptian authorities denied the existence of evidence of the terrorist attacks on the A321.

The collapse of the A321 companies “Kogalymavia” carrying out a flight from Sharm El Sheikh to St Petersburg, took place on 31 October. After some time, the head of FSB Alexander Bortnikov reported to Russian President, that the cause of the crash was a terrorist attack on Board the aircraft.
