Mail.ru Group has sold HeadHunter consortium of investors led by Elbrus Capital


MOSCOW, February 26. Mail.ru Group has sold HeadHunter consortium of investors led by Elbrus Capital for RUR 10 billion, said in a statement.

“Completed the transaction for the sale of HeadHunter consortium of investors led by Elbrus Capital for RUR 10 billion,” he said Mail.ru Group.

The transaction completed on 25 February 2016. The company has already received the first tranche in the amount of 5.5 billion rubles., the second tranche of 4.5 billion rubles will be received until April 30 of this year.

Mail.ru Group owned a HeadHunter for the past seven years. HeadHunter is a leader in the Internet recruitment in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Azerbaijan. In 2015 the HeadHunter’s revenue fell 1.5% to 3,05 billion rubles., EBITDA decreased by 2.5% to RUB 1.5 billion compared with the result of the previous year.

Mail.ru Group belongs to an online resource and e-mail Mail.ru social network “Odnoklassniki”, My world and Vkontakte, instant messaging services ICQ and “Mail.ru Agent”, etc. in addition, Mail.Ru Group owns minority stakes in several Internet companies in Russia, Ukraine and Israel, as well as a stake in Qiwi (1.31% a). In the global market the company is represented by the brand My.com (start brings together services for communication and entertainment).
