MOSCOW, February 26. The Russian space forces will continue the strikes against terrorists in Syria even after the armistice. Statements of public organizations about the alleged Russian military attacks on civilian targets is not backed by any reliable information, reported the President’s press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.
“It is known that even after the entry into force of the ceasefire of offensive operations against terrorist organizations in Syria to stop will not, it is not planned”, – he said. “This is one of the conditions agreed upon by the presidents of Russia and U.S. initiatives,” said Sands.
“The Russian space forces continue the operation in Syria in support of the armed forces of this country; it is directed against ISIS and other terrorist organizations, which are recorded in the list of the UN security Council,” said the spokesman.
Sands skeptical of reports from several organizations, such as the “Observatory of human rights in Syria”, about the allegedly heavy attacks from the VC of the Russian Federation on civilian targets in Syria. “We know that this Observatory has repeatedly given the information that, unfortunately, was not confirmed and was not supported by any evidence, not even talking reliable data – something”, he said.
