The court has delayed the sentence of the daughter of the former Vice mayor of Moscow for 14 years


Former owner and President of the Bank “Moscow Lights” Maria Roslyak, the daughter of the former Vice-mayor of Moscow Yuri Roslyak is found guilty of fraud and embezzlement and sentenced to four years in strict regime colony. The corresponding decision was made by the Basmanny district court of Moscow, reports “New newspaper”.

In response to the current pregnancy and condemned the presence of her two minor children, the court also decided to postpone the verdict until children reach the Roslyak 14 years of age.

Roslyak was charged under part 4 of article 159 (“Fraud in especially large sizes in the group”) and part 4 of article 160 (“Theft in especially large sizes in the group”). According to investigators, in the period 2010-2014 Roslyak as Chairman of the Bank “Moscow Lights” bring him the money through bogus loans that were issued to the short-lived companies.

As a result, the court found the Roslyak guilty in the theft of 6.1 billion rubles belonging to the credit institution, as well as in the creation in April 2014 of fraudulent schemes aimed at illegal withdrawal of deposits from two customers — a Cyprus company ProfordInvestmentsLimited ($356 million roubles) and open company “Sinan Insaat” ($11 million).

Protection of the injured party was dissatisfied with the court decision, the newspaper notes.

Maria Roslyak, the daughter of Yury Roslyak, who from 2003 to 2010 he was first Deputy mayor of Moscow, and until September 2013 was presented by Moscow in the Federation Council.
