KOLESNIKOVA /Voronezh region/, February 27. Double-track electrified railway zhuravka – Millerovo length of 122.5 km will be fully commissioned in the third quarter of 2017. This was reported on Saturday to journalists by the Deputy Russian defense Minister army General Dmitry Bulgakov, following the meeting of the headquarters of the railroad.

“The results of last year and the first half of the first quarter of this year show one thing: we are ahead of all schedules. The road being built to bypass Ukraine, will be put to permanent operation in the third quarter of 2017”, – said the Deputy head of the defense Ministry.

“We’re talking about all of 122.5 km of Railways”, he said.

Bulgakov reported that about 20 April troops railway will commence laying a rail-a shpalny lattice from the station contiguity zhuravka in the direction of the station Bochenkova. “Will be laid the first 500 meters of fences,” said the Deputy Minister.

According to him, on the readiness of the subgrade of the railway troops will start laying a rail-a shpalny lattice all over the road.

Another reason for advancing the construction schedule of the road he cited high labour productivity. “Today we have each battalion put at least 1 million cubic meters of soil, which is 2.5 times more than its capabilities. Such results were achieved due to the fact that the coefficient of technical readiness of equipment is not less than 98 percent,” said the Deputy head of the Ministry of defense.
