KIEV, February 27. The movement of Russian transit freight transport on the territory of Ukraine is in a quiet mode without blocking. This was stated by the Minister of infrastructure of Ukraine Andriy Pivovarsky on air of TV channel “112 Ukraine”.

The Minister stressed that the nationalists, conducting a protest on the highways of Ukraine, do not interfere with the movement of heavy trucks, and the action is peaceful. “Never confirmed the blocking of transit”, – assured the brewers.

Information of the nationalist party “Freedom”, in Chernivtsi blocked traffic 14 Russian trucks denied by the Minister. “Block 14 fours – it fakie, and they are not confirmed,” said brewer.

At the same time, the Minister noted that part of the Russian fur does not go, and stands on the roads of Ukraine, but on their own drivers. “At the moment all the trucks in past days came on the territory of Ukraine, except for those whose drivers are resting or are unable to move, as had lunch and can break the rules of the road, quietly passed through the territory of Ukraine. Neither in Transcarpathia or in Rivne and Zhytomyr oblasts block is not” – again he said.

According to the Minister, the talks on the situation with the transit continues, but not only with Russia but also other neighbouring countries, including Poland. “We want to move to a permanent agreement,” – said the aim of the negotiations brewer.

Perpetual campaign

February 11, the Ukrainian radicals in the Transcarpathian region announced an indefinite protest by blocking the transit of Russian trucks. Later they were joined by radical activists in several other areas: Volyn, Rivne, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Sumy and Chernivtsi.

In response, on February 14, Russia suspended the Ukrainian movement of trucks through its territory. On 15 February, the Ukrainian government officially announced the suspension of transit cargo vehicles registered in Russia. From February 16 the Russian Federation has suspended the transit via its territory commercial vehicles registered in Ukraine. The parties later entered the regime of “going home”, which included the ability for drivers to complete the flight, returning to the country of residence.

On February 24, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allowed the transit of trucks, including Russian trucks on its territory on 25 February and instructed the interior Ministry to provide security for movement of transit flows.
