MOSCOW, February 29. Gazprom last year supplied to the domestic market of Russia 205 billion cubic meters of gas. This was announced by the Chairman of the Board of the company Alexey Miller at the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Last year “Gazprom” has extracted 418,5 billion cubic meters of gas. This enabled us to provide a reliable and stable supply for export and inside the country. Gazprom supplies pure gas to the domestic market amounted to 205 billion cubic meters,” – said Miller, adding that “this is less than in 2014.”
According to the company, the volume of natural gas sales of the Gazprom group in 2014 the domestic market amounted to $ 217,2 billion cubic meters (excluding intra-company sales), which is 4.8% less than in 2013. Thus, the reduction of deliveries to the domestic market last year was 5.6%.
Speaking about the export of gas, Miller said that last year, its volume amounted to 159.4 billion cubic meters “This is a delivery in the far abroad, the supply of gas to Europe. They increased by 11.8 billion the Volume of gas exports increased by 8%”, – said the head of the gas monopoly.
Thus, according to him, “if we talk about the trends that are in the current time period, from the beginning of 2016, the volume of gas exports increased by 37.5%”.
Miller reported to the President that last year, Germany set a record of purchases of Russian gas was 43.5 billion cubic meters of gas, 6 billion cubic meters more than in 2014. “But this year we see that the growth in supplies of gas to Germany and other large European countries even more. That is, the increase of gas supplies to Germany during the time that has elapsed since the beginning of the year, to 44%, in Italy – 42%, France – 73%, Austria – 52%.
“If in 2015, the absolute increase of exports amounted to 11.8 billion cubic meters of gas, only for the first two months of this year in absolute terms, this is a plus of 7.5 billion cubic meters of gas,” – said Miller.
